Nepal Creates History: First-Ever T20I Win Against West Indies

 Nepal national cricket team has etched its name in cricket history by securing a landmark T20I victory against the mighty West Indies cricket team. This was Nepal’s first-ever win against a full ICC Test-playing nation, and it came in style with a thrilling 19-run victory at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

After being asked to bat first, Nepal scored a modest 148/8. Skipper Rohit Paudel led from the front with a gritty 38 runs, while Kushal Malla (30 off 21 balls), Gulsan Jha (22), and Kushal Bhurtel provided valuable contributions. Despite early blows from Akeal Hosein and Jason Holder, Nepal’s middle order kept the scoreboard ticking.

West Indies, who were without some of their big stars, faltered in the chase as Nepal’s bowlers struck regularly. Dipendra Singh Airee, Sompal Kami, and the experienced Karan KC played crucial roles with the ball, ensuring Nepal’s defense of 148 was successful. Eventually, West Indies were bundled out, handing Nepal a famous 19-run win.
